A 22-year-old girl born with a rare facial condition has opened up about her struggles after she was taunted all through college.

Olivia Hotschilt, from Alstonville in northern NSW, was recognized with the genetic dysfunction craniofrontonasal dysplasia – that means components of her cranium fused prematurely, leaving her with eyes spaced aside and no nasal bridge.

At the tender age of 5, her condition took a crippling toll on her life – and the bullying grew to become so extreme, she averted taking a look at herself within the mirror.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the younger girl mentioned she did not realise she was totally different from different kids till she began kindergarten.

And on a regular basis was a relentless battle for Olivia rising up the place she was confronted with merciless taunts or stares wherever she was in public.

‘Getting on buses to go off to highschool, children would flip round in seats simply to level and yell insults at me,’ she recalled.

‘At college, I used to be spending lunchtimes alone, or operating from bullies as a result of I would get bashed, until I would run quick sufficient to cover in a classroom or bathroom block.

‘Sometimes, you would not even eat since you’re simply too nervous in case someone got here up behind you and push you down the steps.

The bullying finally spiralled uncontrolled, and Olivia mentioned she began self-harming after reducing off all her hair.
